1. Who we are
AssessAll (“AssessAll”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the assessment platform at https://assessall.com. We provide hiring, learning-and-development, and compliance assessments to corporate clients, training providers, hiring partners, and individual learners.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Account information — name, email address, and profile photo (when you sign in with Google).
- Organisation context — the organisation you belong to and your role within it.
- Assessment responses — answers you submit, voice recordings, typed text, and time stamps.
- Proctoring data — when an assessment is configured as proctored, periodic webcam photos and counters for tab switches, copy/paste attempts, and similar integrity events.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, collected via cookies and similar technologies.
3. How we use your information
- Operate the platform, authenticate you, and deliver assessments.
- Score your responses and generate reports for you, your organisation, and authorised reviewers.
- Provide proctoring evidence to the organisation that commissioned the assessment.
- Improve the platform, troubleshoot bugs, and prevent fraud or abuse.
- Send service emails such as assignment notifications and credit balance alerts.
- Comply with legal obligations under Indian law, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and any other applicable jurisdiction.
4. Who we share your information with
- The organisation that assigned the assessment to you (or that you authorised) receives your responses and reports.
- Service providers we rely on to operate the platform — Supabase (hosted database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI scoring), Speechace and Sarvam AI (voice analysis), and email-delivery providers.
- Government authorities when required by law.
- We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.
5. Data retention
Assessment responses, reports, and proctoring evidence (including photos and event logs) are retained for as long as the commissioning organisation requires them, typically up to 30 days for proctoring artefacts and the lifetime of the engagement for scored responses. You can request earlier deletion by contacting us.
6. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act 2023 and similar regulations, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request erasure of your data, subject to legitimate operational needs.
- Withdraw consent for processing (where consent is the legal basis).
- Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India or your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@assessall.com.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest, role-based access control via row-level security, and audit logs of administrative actions. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Cookies
We use cookies only for essential functionality (authentication session, theme preference). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
9. Children
AssessAll is not intended for use by children under 18 without organisational sponsorship and the consent of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a notice on the platform.
