Measures the ability to lead people through change that actually sticks — building genuine urgency, winning over influential sceptics, adapting the path as conditions shift, and holding steady (and helping others stay steady) under the stress that change brings. Items are realistic change situations where the well-intentioned move is often the wrong one. Scoring is keyed to the change-leadership evidence: why change efforts fail (Kotter), resistance as a response to being changed rather than to change itself, building a guiding coalition and short-term wins, adaptive action under uncertainty, and leading the emotional side of change. Behavioural-tendency framing and equally-credible, misconception-anchored options make it resistant to guessing and faking. A stretch band raises the difficulty to harder, higher-ambiguity change.
