Taking an assessment

What happens when I start the assessment?

It opens in a clean full-screen window, one question per screen, with your progress shown at the top.

The assessment opens in its own distraction-free window.

Some assessments begin with one or two short questions — for example, which country you work in. That is only used to make the examples in your report relevant to your region; it never affects your scores.

Then you move into the questions themselves:

  • One screen at a time, so you are never scrolling through a wall of questions.
  • A progress bar at the top shows where you are — for example, Section 1 of 8 · question 5 of 18.
  • An Auto-saving indicator confirms your answers are being stored as you go.
  • Some assessments have a timer; if so, it is shown on screen.

On the very last screen, the button changes to Finish. Selecting it submits your responses for scoring — this is the step that generates your report, so do not close the window before it.
