Taking an assessment
Can I take the assessment on my phone?
Yes for most assessments — but a laptop or desktop is easier for longer ones, and better for anything spoken.
The platform works on phones and tablets, and most assessments are perfectly usable that way.
That said, a laptop or desktop is the better choice when:
- The assessment runs longer than about 20 minutes.
- It involves typing longer answers.
- It involves speaking — spoken-English and voice assessments are far easier with a proper microphone and a quiet room.
- It uses interactive question formats with dragging or precise selection.
Whatever you use, make sure the device is charged and the connection is stable before you begin.
