Can someone retake an assessment, and does it cost again?
Yes, you can assign it again — and yes, each attempt debits credits, because each attempt is a fresh scored assessment.
Assign the same assessment to the same person again and they get a new attempt. Both attempts are kept, so you can see movement over time — which is exactly what you want for a pre- and post-training measure.
Each attempt debits credits. There is no free second go. That is a deliberate pricing rule rather than an oversight: every attempt is scored, and where the assessment involves AI-graded written or spoken responses, every attempt costs us real work to score.
A few things worth knowing before you re-assign:
- Behavioural instruments (DISC, personality) do not usefully change over weeks. Retaking one a month later mostly measures mood. Leave six months, or longer.
- Skill and aptitude assessments are the ones where a retake tells you something — that is the point of a post-training measure.
- Aptitude assessments draw fresh questions on a retake, so a second attempt is not the same paper again.
Assigned it to the wrong person, or launched twice by accident? Tell us before they take it and we will reverse the debit.
